Somerset Community Mission
Somerset Community Mission is a church whose "mission" is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. At the Mission we have casual, non-denominational worship and conservative, Bible based teaching.
We are a "come as you are" church as Jesus intended for His church to be. Age appropriate Bible study begins at 10am and worship service begins at 11am on Sunday morning. Dress is very casual, and the donuts, coffee and genuine smiles are always free!
The Mission hosts Celebrate Recovery which meets every Monday evening at 6:30pm. This 12 step ministry offers support to those with Hurts, Habits & Hang-ups. A free meal is available at 6:00pm and there is no charge to attend.
The Mission supports God's Food Pantry and Twice as Nice.
On Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm, we have Bible Study for the adults and offer age appropriate classes to teach biblical truths to children, tweens and teens. (Meal also available at 6pm)
The Mission promotes close, personal relationships within our church members through small groups which we call "Community Groups". The Community Groups are not only for fellowship but also for service within our own church body and within our local community.
World Missions are also an important part of the ministry here at SCM and we have mission churches in Peru.
To find out more, we are located in the Big Lots plaza in Somerset, Kentucky. See contact info for the physical address.
